Our Story

Dragon Bowl was born from a decade spent in Tokyo's underground izakayas and Kyoto's omakase bars. Chef Tanaka moved to Florida's Emerald Coast with a singular vision: bring the precision and ceremony of Japanese cuisine to a community that had never experienced it quite like this.

We source our fish twice weekly through direct relationships with Gulf Coast fishermen and select Japanese importers. Every grain of rice is cooked in filtered water with Akitakomachi from Niigata prefecture. The details matter because you can taste them.
